AVG Anti-Virus is al jaren de meest gedownloade gratis virusscanner op GratisSoftware.nl en biedt complete bescherming tegen virussen, spyware en andere malware.
Voor het in september vorig jaar uitgekomen AVG 2013 is nu een eerste service pack uitgebracht. Deze onderhoudsuitgave lost diverse fouten en crashes op en voert enkele verbeteringen door.
Met name in de e-mail scanner en het online schild zijn fouten gerepareerd. Ook een blue screen of death (BSOD) bij de anti-rootkit scan is verholpen. Ten slotte is de installatieprocedure verbeterd en zijn conflicten met andere beveiligingssoftware opgelost. Details kun je hieronder nalezen.
AVG Anti-Virus Free 2013 is gratis te downloaden voor Windows XP, Vista, 7 en 8. Er is ook een 64-bits versie. AVG is in het Nederlands vertaald. Huidige gebruikers kunnen updaten vanuit het programma zelf.
