FrostWire 5.0.7

Van FrostWire is versie 5.0.7 verschenen. De voornaamste verandering in deze uitgave van de populaire LimeWire-kloon is dat het nu mogelijk is om bestanden (en mappen) direct te verzenden naar bekenden. Hierdoor is het mogelijk om op simpele wijze hele grote bestanden of mappen (er is geen beperking, dus het bestand kan ettelijke gigabytes groot zijn) te versturen. Nadeel is wel dat persoonlijke bestanden niet op deze manier verzonden kunnen worden omdat de http-link in principe openbaar beschikbaar is en anderen dit bestand dus ook kunnen downloaden.

Verder zijn in Frostwire 5 diverse aanpassingen aan de interface doorgevoerd en fouten opgelost. Lees hieronder alle wijzigingen.

FrostWire is gebaseerd op LimeWire en is te downloaden voor Windows, Mac OS X, Linux en Android. Het programma is ook in het Nederlands vertaald. Let goed op bij de installatie en haal het vinkje weg bij de Ask werkbalk voor Internet Explorer en Firefox als gevraagd wordt of u deze onnodige toolbar wilt installeren.
