Picasa is een zeer gebruikersvriendelijke fotobewerker die ontwikkeld wordt door Google en die goed integreert met de gratis online dienst Picasa Web.

Picasa 3.9.0.141 is dit weekend uitgebracht. In deze versie van Googles fotobewerker zitten veel verbeteringen voor de Google Foto's Back-up functionaliteit (die als losse download aangeboden wordt na de installatie van Picasa). Ook wordt op Macs de nieuwe Apple foto-bibliotheek ondersteund. Ten slotte worden enkele beveiligingsproblemen met de verwerking van raw-afbeeldingen opgelost. Google vermeldt trouwens nog dat het controleren op updates onder het Help-menu nog altijd niet werkt.

Picasa is in het Nederlands te verkrijgen voor Windows Vista, 7, 8.1 en 10. Er is ook een versie voor Mac OS X.

Picasa 3.9.0.140

Picasa is een zeer gebruikersvriendelijke fotobewerker die ontwikkeld wordt door Google en die goed integreert met de gratis online dienst Picasa Web.

Picasa 3.9.0.140 is vorige week verschenen. In deze versie van Googles fotobewerker wordt Google+ vervangen door Google Foto's als plek voor uploads en backups. Een privacy-verbetering is dat Picasa's tags van gezichten nu niet meer geüpload worden naar Google Foto's als je foto's uploadt. De naam-tags worden nu alleen lokaal bewaard en niet online.

Picasa is in het Nederlands te verkrijgen voor Windows XP, Vista, 7 en 8. Er is ook een versie voor Mac OS X.

Text changes in popup for uploading and/or sharing

“Existing Google Photos album has X photo” -> “Existing Google Photos album has X photos and may already be shared”
When you click on "Upload to Google Photos," text on the screen has changed from "Upload to Google Photos and Share to G+”  --> “Upload to Google Photos and Optionally Share to G+”?

upload/sync of face tags to Google Photos

Upload/sync of face tags from Picasa has been disabled and the option to do so (Options, Google Photos tab) has been removed. Picasa can still tag faces locally but those tags will simply not be pushed online when a photo is uploaded.

Picasa is een zeer gebruikersvriendelijke fotobewerker die ontwikkeld wordt door Google en die goed integreert met de gratis online dienst Picasa Web.

Picasa 3.9.0.138 is vorige week uitgekomen. Deze versie van Googles fotobewerker lost diverse fouten op. Met name de nieuwe AutoBackup-functie is weer verbeterd. Zo zijn problemen en crashes gerepareerd en is de maximum bestandsgrootte verhoogt naar 50 MB.

AutoBackup zorgt ervoor dat alle foto's op je pc of Mac automatisch worden opgeslagen op je Google+ account. Zo heb je online een backup van je foto's - en kun je via je tablet, telefoon of laptop ook altijd bij je foto's via je Google+ Foto's account. Deze foto's zijn niet openbaar, dus alleen jij kunt ze zien (tenzij je ze wilt delen).

Verder is in deze uitgave van Picasa een fout opgelost waardoor met Opslaan en Opslaan als foto's niet altijd de juiste extensie kregen. Ook werkt het uploaden van video's weer correct.

Picasa is in het Nederlands te verkrijgen voor Windows XP, Vista, 7 en 8. Er is ook een versie voor Mac OS X.

Van Picasa zijn de afgelopen tijd enkele updates uitgebracht die een heleboel fouten en crashes oplossen. Met name de nieuwe functie AutoBackup, die eind vorig jaar geïntroduceerd is, is flink onder handen genomen.

AutoBackup zorgt ervoor dat alle foto's op je pc of Mac automatisch worden opgeslagen op je Google+ account. Zo heb je online een backup van je foto's - en kun je via je tablet, telefoon of laptop ook altijd bij je foto's via je Google+ Foto's account. Deze foto's zijn niet openbaar, dus alleen jij kunt ze zien (tenzij je ze wilt delen).

Picasa 3.9.0.137.69

Picasa is een zeer gebruikersvriendelijke fotobewerker die ontwikkeld wordt door Google en die goed integreert met de gratis online dienst Picasa Web.

Picasa 3.9.0.137.69 is de eerste update voor Googles fotobewerker in acht maanden. De grootste vernieuwing is dat Picasa nu ook backups naar Google+ kan maken van je foto's. Dit kun je bij de start van het programma instellen als je wilt. Leuk is dat je dan ook gebruik kunt maken van de auto-awesome eigenschap van Google+ foto's waarbij afbeeldingen automatisch mooier gemaakt worden en snel na elkaar gemaakte foto's tot een filmpje gemonteerd worden.

Verder is de uploadlimiet van bestanden vergroot tot 50MB en de raw-ondersteuning uitgebreid voor nieuwere camera's. Ten slotte zijn enige beveiligingsproblemen in de afhandeling van raw, tiff en jpeg-bestanden gerepareerd.

In maart en april zijn nog twee kleine onderhoudsupdates verschenen voor Picasa die diverse fouten en crashes oplosten. Tot nu toe had Google de release notes hiervoor nog niet gepubliceerd.

Picasa 3.9.0.137.69 is in het Nederlands te verkrijgen voor Windows XP, Vista, 7 en 8. Er is ook een versie voor Mac OS X.

Picasa 3.9.0.136.17 is een onderhoudsupdate die gisteren is uitgebracht. In deze versie van Picasa worden twee beveiligingslekken verholpen, aangaande TIFF en BMP afbeeldingen.

Verder zijn enkele crashes en vastlopers van Picasa gerepareerd en twee problemen met het synchroniseren van fotoalbums opgelost. Ten slotte kent Picasa verscheidene verbeteringen bij het beheren van online contacten en het labelen of taggen van gezichten.

Picasa is een zeer gebruikersvriendelijke fotobewerker die ontwikkeld wordt door Google en die goed integreert met de gratis online dienst Picasa Web.

Picasa 3.9.0.136.09 is gisteren verschenen. In deze uitgave van de fotobewerker is het synchroniseren met online foto-albums verbeterd en zijn enkele fouten opgelost.

Zo kan Picasa weer jpg-bestanden openen die door GIMP gemaakt zijn. En ook sommige png-bestanden met fouten kunnen weer gelezen worden. Details kun je hieronder nalezen.

Picasa is een zeer gebruikersvriendelijke fotobewerker die ontwikkeld wordt door Google en die goed integreert met de gratis online dienst Picasa Web.

Picasa 3.9.0.136.07 is gisteren verschenen. In deze uitgave van de fotobewerker - en in eerdere versies die de afgelopen maanden uitkwamen - worden diverse crashes opgelost. Ook is het synchroniseren met de online opslag verbeterd.

Verder zijn een paar problemen met het mailen van foto's verholpen, is ondersteuning voor het RAW-formaat van meer camera's toegevoegd en moet het uploaden van foto's een stuk sneller zijn.

Met deze updates heeft Google de afgelopen maanden diverse fouten in Picasa gerepareerd die vervelend voor gebruikers konden zijn. Een aanbevolen download dus. Picasa 3.9.0.136.07 is in het Nederlands te verkrijgen voor Windows XP, Vista en 7 en Mac OS X.

Picasa 3.9.0 135.83

Van Picasa 3.9 zijn in januari twee onderhoudsupdates verschenen. Picasa is een zeer gebruikersvriendelijke fotobewerker die ontwikkeld wordt door Google.

Picasa 3.9 builds 135.81 en 135.83 verhelpen enkele kleine, niet nader omschreven, fouten maar introduceren verder geen nieuwe functionaliteit.

Picasa is in het Nederlands te verkrijgen voor Windows XP, Vista en 7 en Mac OS X.
