Picasa 3.6.0 105.41

Picasa 3.6 is met buildnummer 105.41 eindelijk vertaald in (onder andere) het Nederlands. Nieuwe functies als naamlabels toevoegen (met behulp van gezichtsherkenningstechnologie) en geo-coderingen (foto's localiseren) zijn nu ook mogelijk in de Nederlandse versie. Gezichtsherkenning was al in versie 3.5 geïntroduceerd, maar is in Picasa 3.6 verbeterd.

Ook het importeren, delen en uploaden van foto's is vergemakkelijkt en het coderen (taggen) van afbeeldingen is uitgebreid. Verder zijn in Picasa 3.6 veel kleine fouten opgelost.

Bovendien meldt h-online.com dat in deze versie van Picasa een beveiligingslek is opgelost
