iTunes 10.5

iTunes 10.5 is verschenen. Dit is een belangrijke update voor de mediaspeler aangezien iTunes nu nauw verweven wordt met de nieuwe, door Apple geïntroduceerde iCloud.

Met iTunes 10.5 en iCloud is het mogelijk om aangekochte muziek en video's op elk apparaat (pc, Mac, iPad, iPod, iPhone, Apple TV) beschikbaar te maken.

Alle in de iTunes Store gekochte liedjes, films en series worden opgeslagen in de iCloud en automatisch gesynchroniseerd met iPhone, iPad en iPod - als ze tenminste iOS 5 draaien, dat later vandaag zal verschijnen.

Ook is het nu mogelijk om eerder aangekochte muziek en apps opnieuw te downloaden zonder opnieuw te betalen. Handig is verder dat synchronisatie nu gewoon via WI-FI kan.

Ten slotte verhelpt iTunes 10.5 ook nog eens bijna 80 beveiligingslekken. De moeite waard om te updaten.

iTunes 10.5 is te downloaden voor Mac OS X en Windows XP, Vista en 7. iTunes is ook in het Nederlands vertaald.
