Secunia PSI 3.0.0.9016

Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI) is een handig programmaatje waarmee je kunt controleren of software op je pc up-to-date is - wat betreft beveiliging. Secunia PSI scant je computer en kan veelal automatisch verouderde versies van software bijwerken. Dit vergroot de veiligheid van je pc, doordat lekke programma's gerepareerd worden. Secunia PSI controleert alleen op beveiligingsupdates.

Een onderhoudsupdate voor Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI) 3.0 is gisteren verschenen. Secunia PSI 3.0.0.9016 is geschikt gemaakt voor Windows 8.1. Verder is een probleem met Internet Explorer 8 opgelost. Details kun je hieronder nalezen in de release notes.

Je kunt Secunia PSI 3.0 gratis downloaden voor Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 en 8.1. Je krijgt de Nederlandse vertaling als je deze tijdens de installatie selecteert.

Sommige GratisSoftware.nl bezoekers melden dat Secunia PSI niet goed samenwerkt met Internet Explorer 11 waardoor het programma crasht. Als je hier ook last van hebt laat het dan weten in de reacties hieronder.

• Misleading End User License Agreement (EULA) - The EULA currently being used says it is prohibited to install PSI in a commercial setting (which is contradictory to the use of PSI with the Secunia Corporate Software Inspector (CSI)). Fixed.
• Pop-up while running the PSI with IE 8 and below - Clicking “No” on the pop-up will make the PSI work, but very slowly. Clicking “Yes” will make the PSI stop working. The pop-up is not displayed when IE 9 or higher is installed on the machine running the Secunia PSI.
