Google Earth 7.1.1

Google Earth is gratis software van Google om satellietbeelden te bekijken en ook de situatie op de grond te aanschouwen.
Google Earth 7.1.1 is een kleine update die enkele vernieuwingen introduceert (zo zijn de tekstballonnen opnieuw ontworpen) en diverse fouten repareert (zo zijn de prestaties van Movie Maker verbeterd).
Nog openstaand probleem is dat de Google Earth plugin niet werkt in Internet Explorer 10 - tenzij je de compatibility view van IE10 probeert.
Google Earth 7.1.1 is gratis te downloaden voor Windows XP, Vista, 7 en 8 en Mac OS X 10.6 en hoger en Linux. Er is ook een mobiele versie van Google Earth voor Android-telefoons en iPhone en iPad.

Known issues
- Plugin fails to initialize on Internet Explorer 10. As a workaround, we suggest enabling Compatibility View.
- Elevation profiles display as blank on certain Mac configurations.
- The Google Earth Plugin will not install while the Firefox browser is running. As a workaround, install the Google Earth Plugin while the browser is closed.
