Comodo Internet Security 5.0.162636

Van Comodo Internet Security (en de losse componenten Comodo Firewall en Comodo Antivirus) is versie 5.0 uitgekomen. In deze uitgave zitten veel nieuwe mogelijkheden. Een nieuwe Spyware Scanner is toegevoegd en de Antivirus-component heeft nu ook extra de beschikking over Cloud based detectie van malware - bovenop opsporing door middel van dagelijkse virusdefinities.

Door de integratie met deze Cloud-service kan de Gedragsanalyse direct nieuwe malware detecteren. Ook maakt Comodo nu gebruik van op de Cloud gebaseerde witte lijsten van betrouwbare software producenten. Een andere nieuwe functie is de Game Mode waarin tijdens spelletjes geen hinderlijke popups en meldingsvensters verschijnen.

Nieuwe interface voor CIS

Ten slotte zijn de Sandbox en is de gebruikersinterface drastisch gewijzigd. Comodo Internet Security 5.0 is beschikbaar voor 32-bits en 64-bits versies van Windows XP, Vista en 7.
