Comodo Internet Security 4.0.4167.742 is de eerste uitgave van het gratis internet beveiligingspakket in de 4.0-serie.

In Comodo Internet Security (CIS) 4.0 is de interface aangepast en is bij Defense+ extra sandbox-bescherming geïntegreerd. Alle onbekende applicaties en installatiebestanden worden gelijk in de sandbox geplaatst om ze in deze beveiligde omgeving te kunnen testen.

Behalve deze sandbox is verder de anti-virus-component van CIS verbeterd en is het aantal waarschuwingsvensters verminderd.
