Google Chrome 7.0.517.44

Versie 7.0.517.44 van Googles browser Chrome is een beveiligingsupdate. Zo worden 12 kritieke lekken gedicht, waarvoor Google weer duizenden dollars uitkeert aan de ontdekkers ervan.

Ook is Google Chrome 7.0.517.44 al uitgerust met een nieuwe versie van Flash die het zero-day lek in de plugin oplost. Dankzij een overeenkomst tussen Google en Adobe (producent van Flash) krijgt Chrome altijd als eerste nieuwe versies van Flash - die is ingebouwd in Google Chrome. Voor andere browsers volgen die later vandaag of morgen pas.

Google Chrome 7.0 is beschikbaar voor Windows, Mac OS X en Linux. Google Chrome update automatisch op de achtergrond als u de browser opstart. Daar hoeft u niks voor te doen.
