VirtualDub 1.9.11 is de dag voor kerst verschenen. In deze versie van de gratis videobewerkingssoftware voor onder andere avi-filmpjes is een probleem met gebroken filters opgelost. VirtualDub is te downloaden voor Windows 98 tot en met 7. Een Nederlandse versie is er niet.

In VirtualDub 1.9.9 zijn diverse bugs gefixt in de interface, filters en decoders. Lees meer details hieronder over de veranderingen in deze versie van het gratis videobewerkingsprogramma. Verder geeft de softwaremaker in een nieuwsbericht aan dat hij weinig tijd heeft voor de ontwikkeling van VirtualDub, maar dat het in de planning ligt dat meer videoformaten ondersteund gaan worden. Ook zal VirtualDub meer gebruik gaan maken van parallelle bewerkingen om wat snelheidswinst te boeken.
