GOM Player is een Zuid-Koreaanse mediaspeler die net als VLC bijna elk mediaformaat afspeelt en veel lichter is dan bijvoorbeeld Windows Mediaspeler.

GOM Player 2.2.76 is net verschenen. In deze uitgave zitten diverse kleine verbeteringen en worden fouten opgelost. Zo is onder andere een privacy onderdeel aan de preferences toegevoegd. Details over de wijzigingen kun je hieronder nalezen.

GOM Player is te krijgen voor Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 en 10. Een Nederlandse vertaling is er niet. Je kunt updaten naar de laatste versie vanuit GOM Player zelf: Preferences | General | Update.

Let op! Tijdens de installatie krijg je de AVG Security Toolbar of andere extra software aangeboden. Haal de vinkjes weg als je deze onnodige extraatjes niet wilt.

GOM Player is een Zuid-Koreaanse mediaspeler die net als VLC bijna elk mediaformaat afspeelt en veel lichter is dan bijvoorbeeld Windows Mediaspeler.

GOM Player 2.2.74 is gisteren uitgebracht. Dit is een kleine update waarin TTS (text-to-speech) verbeteringen zijn doorgevoerd. Ook de interface en de stabiliteit van touch acties zijn verbeterd. Details over de wijzigingen kun je hieronder nalezen.

GOM Player is te krijgen voor Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 en 10. Een Nederlandse vertaling is er niet. Je kunt updaten naar de laatste versie vanuit GOM Player zelf: Preferences | General | Update.

GOM Player 2.2.72.5234 is maandag verschenen. Dit is een kleine update waarin TTS (text-to-speech) en een tweede ondertitel-functie zijn toegevoegd. Ook zijn diverse fouten opgelost. Details over de wijzigingen kun je hieronder nalezen.

GOM Player is een Zuid-Koreaanse mediaspeler die net als VLC bijna elk mediaformaat afspeelt en veel lichter is dan bijvoorbeeld Windows Mediaspeler.

GOM Player 2.2.71 is gisteren verschenen. Het werken met afspeellijsten is sneller geworden, wat met name merkbaar is bij het toevoegen of verwijderen van bestanden van playlists. Ook is een zoekvenstertje toegevoegd. Verder ondersteunt GOM Player nu beveiligde https-verbindingen van YouTube en internet radio-stations. Ten slotte zijn heel veel foutjes opgelost en kleine verbeteringen doorgevoerd. Details over de wijzigingen kun je hieronder nalezen.

GOM Player 2.2.69.5227

GOM Player is een Zuid-Koreaanse mediaspeler die net als VLC bijna elk mediaformaat afspeelt en veel lichter is dan bijvoorbeeld Windows Mediaspeler.

GOM Player 2.2.69 is gisteren verschenen. Deze uitgave heeft drie interessante nieuwe functies. Zo kun je nu GIF-animaties creëren als je een schermopname maakt. En ten tweede kun je YouTube filmpjes direct afspelen in GOM Player via het menu Open | Url. Derde welkome nieuwe functie is dat GOM Player beschikt over hardware decoding - indien aanwezig op je pc. Dit moet de CPU ontlasten (maakt gebruik van de GPU) en zorgen voor veel minder vertragingen. Verder zijn in deze versie van GOM Player diverse fouten opgelost en verbeteringen doorgevoerd. 1. Added GIF Animation Output feature:
- Added GIF Animation Output feature in Advanced Screen Capture (Ctrl+G). Select “GIF Animation” for Image Format, then press “Animation GIF Starts” to start making an Animation GIF, press “Animation GIF Ends” to end the creation.

2. Added “Enable Hardware Decoding (If possible)” feature:
- Added “Enable Hardware Decoding (If possible)” feature. This feature allows you to use Hardware Decoders for media playback. It’s also possible to customize the decoders for each different type of video formats. Enabling this feature helps decreasing the CPU usage and increasing the processing speed. (“Play using Intel Quick Sync Video” and “Enable Intel HEVC(H.265) decoder” which are supported in the older version, are now integrated in this new feature.)

3. Added YouTube Playback feature:
- It is now possible to open YouTube link directly with GOM Media Player. Open→ URL... (Ctrl+U), insert YouTube link, press OK then you’ll be able to watch YouTube Videos on GOM Media Player!

4. Added “Disable Internal Filters Settings” feature:
- Removed “Quick Play Mode” feature and added “Disable Internal Filters Settings” feature instead. This feature now allows you to disable internal video filter (Gretech Video Filter) or/ and internal audio filter (Gretech Audio Filter).
* Note that when internal filters are disabled, features such as capture, rotate, audio stream select may not work properly. This feature is optional and it is not checked in the preferences window at default.

5. Solved the problems in the version 2.2.67.5221 of GOM Media Player:
- Fixed the audio issue of .m3u8 URLs playback.

6. Added some more filters in the “Disabled Filters List”:
- More filters are added in the “Disabled Filters List” in the preferences window.

7. Change of the video output type at default:
- Due to some faults occurring in the previous version 2.2.67.5221 that supports [EVR – Custom Presenter] at default, the video output type is changed to [VMR( Renderless (DirectX v9)] in this version.

8. Added File Info in the Playing File Info…:
- Added File Info in the “Playing File Info…”. It is now possible to retrieve your File Info in the Playing File Info… (Ctrl+ F1) by pressing “Copy to clipboard”. To solve issues regarding the software efficiently, adding a File Info of the file that is having problems to the File Info blank will be helpful.

9. Added “Limit color range: 16-235” feature:
- Added “Limit color range: 16-235” when using “EVR – Custom Presenter” as Video Output Type. This feature is optional and it is not checked in the preferences window at default.

10. Compatible with Windows 10 Preview
- Confirmed that GOM Media Player is compatible with Windows 10 Preview. The official support will begin as soon as the release of Windows 10.

GOM Player 2.2.67 is vandaag verschenen. Deze uitgave kent veel vernieuwingen. Zo is er nu een preview als je met je muis boven de tijdbalk beweegt. Deze preview-functie moet je nog wel aanzetten in de instellingen. Verder zijn de ondertitels verbeterd, veel fouten opgelost, auto-rotate voor video toegevoegd en diverse andere wijzigingen doorgevoerd. Alle details kun je hieronder nalezen.

- Corrected the playback issue of VCD (some of .dat files).
- Fixed the saturation of video being recognized incorrectly issue.
- Regardless of the audio issue when playing DVD with Windows 8/8.1, the problem of not showing Codec Finder window is fixed.
-“The audio keeps playing when stopping DVD (.IFO) playback which is played from the root menu” issue is fixed.
- Corrected the playback issue of some .avi files.
- Corrected the audio playback issue of some .m2ts files.
- Corrected the snapshot issue that couldn’t be operated correctly for some .m2ts files.
- Corrected the playback issue of some .ts files.
- Fixed the JPEG quality not being applied correctly issue while doing still image capture.
- Fixed the bookmark problem that occurred during the update of GOM Media Player Ver. 2.2.64.5211 from Ver. 2.2.53.5169.
- “The seek bar only shows the first 6 seconds when playing some .wav files” issue has been fixed.

6. Support V210 playback:
- From version 2.2.67.5221, V210 playback is supported.

7. Improvement of subtitle support:
- Fixed the issue of some ASS/SSA format subtitle files not being recognized normally.
- Corrected the character alignment problem of RTL subtitles.

8. Added “Subtitle Priority” Feature:
- When playing media files with internal subtitles, the “Subtitle Priority” feature allows you to set external subtitle as priority. Please select “Internal subtitle priority” if you wish to give priority to internal subtitles. In addition, when there are multi-languages in the external subtitle file of a media file, you can fill out the language that you prefer to play.

9. Added “Enable Intel HEVC(H.265) decoder” option:
- When playing files encoded with H.265, the processing speed will be improved if enabling Intel HEVC(H.265) decoder. It’s not checked at default but you can check it anytime in the preferences window.

10. Added “Play to match the audio when audio out of sync (video comes after audio)” option:
- Added “Play to match the audio when audio out of sync (video comes after audio)” feature. It’s checked at default but you can uncheck it anytime in the preferences window.

11. Added “Quality optimization mode” option:
- Added “Quality optimization mode: Give the priority as the file format.” option.

12. Change of the video output type at default:
- The video output type at default is changed to [EVR – Custom Presenter] from {Enhanced Video Renderer}.

13. Added “Seek bar loads according to the file analyzed progress when playing damaged MKV files” option:
- When playing damaged/ corrupted .MKV files, the seek bar will loads according to the file analyzed progress. It’s checked at default but you can uncheck it anytime in the preferences window.

14. Change of file playback operation:
- When there are multiple files in the playlist, delete the one which is currently playing, GOM Media Player will play the next file in the playlist instead of the previous one.

GOM Player 2.2.64.5211

GOM Player is een Zuid-Koreaanse mediaspeler die net als VLC bijna elk mediaformaat afspeelt en veel lichter is dan bijvoorbeeld Windows Mediaspeler.

GOM Player 2.2.64 is gisteren uitgebracht. In deze versie van de mediaspeler zitten enkele vernieuwingen en worden een paar fouten opgelost. Nieuwe functie is dat je van al je instellingen van GOM een backup kunt maken, zodat je die later makkelijk terug kunt zetten. Ook is er aan de interface een 'Always on top' knop toegevoegd die GOM boven andere vensters zal plaatsen als je bijvoorbeeld een video afspeelt.

Verder zijn een crash en enkele fouten (waaronder problemen met het afspelen van divx- en Flash-bestanden) gerepareerd. De weergave van de ondertiteling is verbeterd en je kunt GOM maximaliseren door het venster naar de bovenkant van je scherm te slepen. Ten slotte zijn nog enkele aanpassingen gedaan en is de configuratie wizard na de installatie verwijderd. Details kun je hieronder nalezen.

2. GOM2.2 Skin update
- "Always on top" button added. (Looping from "Always on top", "On top while playing" to "Disable on top".)
- "Save the current frame" button added.
The short cut key "Ctrl+E" is still functioning, this feature is more convenient for users who want to capture with their mouses.

3. Solved the problems in the Version 2.2.62.5209 of GOM Player
The issues occured in the Ver2.2.62.5205, Ver2.2.62.5207, and Ver2.2.62.5209 have been solved and improved.
- The software crashing problem when changing the playback size by dragging under Enhanced Video Renderer Video Output Type is amended.
- Fixed the problem of the playback screen turning black when changing playback size by using Pan & Scan under Enhanced Video Renderer Video Output Type.
- Corrected the playback issue of the .divx files
- Solved the keyboard function when playing .swf files
- Corrected the taskbar issue when maximizing windows size in the menu (with/ without blank space) (Shortcut:5, 6 or the fullscreen button on the skin) under Windows Vista system.

4. Added "Maximize window when dragged to the top edge of the screen" feature
- This feature is automatically checked under default setting, please disable it under the preferences window.

5. Improved the subtitle display feature
- The issue of selecting "Display on overlay surface" for subtitles display method under Enhanced Video Renderer Video Output Type is solved.
- Fixed the scrambled codes problem when playing ASS/SSA type Korean/ Chinese in .mkv files.

6. Changed the default setting of the Video Output Type
- The Video Output Type has been changed from "VMR9- Renderless mode" to "Enhanced Video Renderer". *Note that it's still possible for users to change in the preferences window.

7. Added filters in the Disabled Filters List
- The filters that might conflcit with the decoders in GOM Player have been added.

8. Deleted the Configuration Wizard
- Please try to use the Preferences window by pressing F5.

GOM Player is een Zuid-Koreaanse mediaspeler die net als VLC bijna elk mediaformaat afspeelt en veel lichter is dan bijvoorbeeld Windows Mediaspeler.

GOM Player 2.2.62.5209 is een kleine update die gisteren verschenen is. Deze versie van de mediaspeler verhelpt enkel een probleem dat is ontstaan na een beveiligingsupdate voor Internet Explorer die eerder deze week uitkwam. Na deze pleister voor Internet Explorer kon GOM Player niet meer correct worden afgesloten. Deze onvolkomenheid is nu gerepareerd. Je kunt updaten naar de laatste versie vanuit GOM Player zelf:  Preferences | General | Update.

GOM Player 2.2.62.5207 is een beveiligingsupdate die gisteren verscheen. Een niet nader omschreven lek is dichtgeplakt in deze uitgave. Verder zijn problemen met de screen capture functionaliteit en aspect ratio van video's opgelost. Ten slotte worden ondertitels weer correct weergegeven.

GOM Player 2.2.62 is gisteren verschenen. In deze versie van de Koreaanse mediaspeler zitten diverse vernieuwingen. Zo kun je met GOM Player nu ook afbeeldingen (jpeg, gif, bmp, png) bekijken. Verder zijn de ondertitels bij films sterk verbeterd. Ook kan GOM nu overweg met het VP9 video-formaat van Google. En Flac en M4a audiobestanden kunnen in GOM 2.2.62 versleept worden naar een afspeellijst. Ten slotte zijn nog enkele kleine fouten opgelost. Alle details kun je hieronder nalezen.

8. Corrected an issue where users would see a CPU error when trying to install the software, even if their CPU was supposed to be supported.

9. Corrected an issue where file type association features were not working properly for some users using Windows 8.1
