EssentialPIM Free is gratis agenda- en mailsoftware waarmee je verder taken, notities en contacten kunt beheren. Behalve een pc versie zijn er ook mobiele varianten voor iOS en Android.

EssentialPIM 6.0.2 is gisteren verschenen. In deze versie zijn verschillende fouten opgelost. Ook zijn problemen met het synchroniseren met Google Calendar verholpen, met name de melding 'HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden'. Een fout die ontstaan is doordat Google de Calendar API veranderd heeft. Wel moet je de synchronisatie voor Google Calendar opnieuw opzetten. De instructies hiervoor zijn als volgt:

To continue synchronizing with Google Calendar, please follow any of the two options:

• Delete your existing Google synchronization (File->Synchronization->Edit Synchronization, Google, Delete Synchronization button). Then add a new one (File->Synchronization->Add synchronization (or Wizard) and follow on-screen instructions, or
• Go to Google synchronization settings (File->Synchronization->Edit Synchronization, Google), click on the button with the question mark near the Code field and follow on-screen instructions

EssentialPIM 6.0 is dinsdag uitgebracht. In deze versie is de intergratie met de EPIM cloud verbeterd en zijn enkele nieuwe functies toegevoegd. Zo is er nu een filter werkbalk voor je e-mail en kun je to do's (taken) beter sorteren en automatisch laten verwijderen als ze afgerond zijn. Ook zijn diverse foutjes in de software gerepareerd en verbeteringen aan onder andere de agenda doorgevoerd. Andere nieuwe functionaliteit, zoals een weekagenda weergave, is voorbehouden aan de betaalde Pro-versie.

EssentialPIM 5.57 is een kleine onderhoudsupdate die kleine verbeteringen doorvoert en enkele fouten oplost. Synchronisatie-problemen op de Android-app zijn onderhanden genomen en de afhandeling van mail-bijlagen is verbeterd. Ook werkt EssentialPIM nu beter met sommige zeldzame SMTP-servers.
