VirtualBox 4.3.6
Met VirtualBox kun je binnen een besturingssysteem een ander besturingssysteem (os) virtueel draaien. Handig om Linux vanuit Windows uit te proberen bijvoorbeeld.
VirtualBox 4.3.6 is gisteren uitgebracht. Dit is de derde onderhoudsupdate voor versie 4.3, waarin diverse crashes, regressies en fouten gerepareerd. Onder andere worden niet automatisch 64-bit gastbesturingssystemen ingeschakeld op 64-bit hosts als VT-x/AMD-V niet beschikbaar is. Verdere details kun je hieronder nalezen.
VirtualBox is beschikbaar voor Windows, Mac OS X en Linux. Het is aan te raden om ook het Extension Pack te installeren, zodat je onder andere ondersteuning voor USB hebt.

VMM: fixed a Guru Meditation VINF_EM_TRIPLE_FAULT caused by VMCB caching with nested paging on certain AMD CPUs (bug #12451)
