7-Zip 9.20
Na bijna twee jaar heeft ontwikkelaar Igor Pavlov een nieuwe versie van zijn zip-programma 7-Zip vrijgegeven. Het versienummer is bijna verdubbeld: van 4.65 naar 9.20. 7-Zip 9.20 kent nog altijd de beste compressie met zijn eigen 7z-formaat.
Sinds begin 2009 zijn er 15 beta's verschenen van 7-Zip. Het aantal archief-formaten waarmee 7-Zip overweg kan is uitgebreid en de snelheid opgevoerd. Verder zijn er veel kleine en grote wijzigingen geïmplementeerd die u hieronder kunt nalezen.
7-Zip is te downloaden voor alle Windows-versies en is vertaald in het Nederlands.
