iTunes 10.5.2

iTunes 10.5.2 is een onderhoudsupdate voor Apples mediaspeler. iTunes 10.5 integreerde de mediaspeler met de nieuwe webdienst iCloud. Versie 10.5.1 introduceerde het betaalde (24,95 dollar) iTunes Match, waarmee ook eigen cd's in de iCloud geplaatst kunnen worden. Deze service is voorlopig alleen in de Verenigde Staten beschikbaar, maar komt vermoedelijk volgend jaar naar Europa.

iTunes 10.5.2 voert nu enkele verbeteringen aan iTunes Match door en lost bovendien een weergaveprobleem op bij het afspelen of importeren van sommige audio-cd's.

iTunes 10.5.2 is te downloaden voor Mac OS X en Windows XP, Vista en 7. iTunes is ook in het Nederlands vertaald.

iTunes 10.5.1 is uitgebracht door Apple. iTunes 10.5 integreerde de mediaspeler met de nieuwe webdienst iCloud. Description: iTunes periodically checks for software updates using an HTTP request to Apple. This request may cause iTunes to indicate that an update is available. If Apple Software Update for Windows is not installed, clicking the Download iTunes button may open the URL from the HTTP response in the user's default browser. This issue has been mitigated by using a secured connection when checking for available updates. For OS X systems, the user's default browser is not used because Apple Software Update is included with OS X, however this change adds additional defense-in-depth.

iTunes 10.5 is verschenen. Dit is een belangrijke update voor de mediaspeler aangezien iTunes nu nauw verweven wordt met de nieuwe, door Apple geïntroduceerde iCloud.

Met iTunes 10.5 en iCloud is het mogelijk om aangekochte muziek en video's op elk apparaat (pc, Mac, iPad, iPod, iPhone, Apple TV) beschikbaar te maken.

Alle in de iTunes Store gekochte liedjes, films en series worden opgeslagen in de iCloud en automatisch gesynchroniseerd met iPhone, iPad en iPod - als ze tenminste iOS 5 draaien, dat later vandaag zal verschijnen.

Ook is het nu mogelijk om eerder aangekochte muziek en apps opnieuw te downloaden zonder opnieuw te betalen. Handig is verder dat synchronisatie nu gewoon via WI-FI kan.

Ten slotte verhelpt iTunes 10.5 ook nog eens bijna 80 beveiligingslekken. De moeite waard om te updaten.

iTunes 10.4.1

Van Apples mediaspeler iTunes is versie 10.4.1 uitgebracht. iTunes 10.4.1 lost enkele fouten en problemen op. Zo is onder andere het ophalen van albumhoezen versneld en een probleem met het aanschaffen van een HD film verholpen.

Ook komt iTunes sneller uit de slaapstand. iTunes 10.4.1 is te downloaden voor Mac OS X en Windows XP, Vista en 7. iTunes is ook in het Nederlands vertaald.

Van Apples mediaspeler iTunes is versie 10.4 verschenen. iTunes 10.4 is speciaal geschikt voor het nieuwe Mac OS X Lion. Voor de Windows en Mac OS X versies zijn bovendien veel - niet nader gespecificeerde - stabiliteits- en prestatieverbeteringen doorgevoerd.

iTunes 10.4 is te downloaden voor Mac OS X en Windows XP, Vista en 7. iTunes is ook in het Nederlands vertaald.

Apple heeft van zijn populaire mediaspeler (en winkel) iTunes versie 10.3 uitgebracht. Integratie met the cloud is de belangrijkste vernieuwing in deze uitgave. Zo verschijnt aangekochte muziek direct op al uw apparaten (iPhone, MacBook, iPad etc.) als u 'Automatische Downloads' inschakelt. Synchronisatie gaat automatisch via iCloud. Hoeft u niet meer steeds handmatig te synchroniseren via iTunes.

Ook zijn er nu boeken in de iTunes Store te koop en is het mogelijk om eerder aangekochte muziek , apps en boeken opnieuw - gratis - te downloaden.

iTunes 10.3 is te downloaden voor Mac OS X en Windows XP, Vista en 7. iTunes is ook in het Nederlands vertaald.
