AxCrypt 1.7.2126.0

Na twee jaar is een nieuwe versie verschenen van encryptie-software AxCrypt. Met dit handige programmaatje kunt u via het rechtermuisknop-menu elk willekeurig bestand op uw pc versleutelen en op deze wijze ontoegankelijk maken voor anderen.

In AxCrypt 1.7.2126.0 zijn de nodige veranderingen doorgevoerd. Zo is AxCrypt nu geschikt voor Windows 7 en is er ook een 64-bits versie uitgebracht. Bovendien wordt voor de installatie nu gebruik gemaakt van een msi-bestand. Verder zijn veel bugs gerepareerd en enkele geheugenlekken verholpen. Ook zijn problemen met sommige anti-virus software uit de wereld.

This release supersedes version 1.6.4.4 and incorporates all changes
documented in the change log from then. The release is a major change
with the change of installer technology to Windows Installer and the
support for 64-bit in all current versions of Windows being the most
visible changes. It also corrects a number of bugs, including some
memory leaks and crashes and is fully Unicode-aware.

Improved fault detection in the memory allocation code caught a
previously undetected double delete, causing a SecondaryExecuteRequest
[EN_GETTHREADEXIT] direct exit instead of a silent memory leak.
