VLC media player 2.1.3
VLC media player is het populairste alternatief voor Windows Mediaspeler. En het voordeel van VLC is dat de applicatie bijna alle audio- en video-bestanden kan afspelen. Je hebt dus maar één mediaspeler nodig voor al je muziek en films - in welk formaat dan ook.
VLC media player 2.1.3 is vandaag uitgebracht. Dit is een onderhoudsupdate voor VLC die heel veel fouten oplost. Met name de audio- en video-output op alle platforms is onderhanden genomen, waardoor onder andere een crash onder Mac OS X is gerepareerd. Verder zijn de decoders (vooral VP9) en demuxers verbeterd en is de interface gepolijst.
Eveneens is een probleem met het afspelen van beveiligde dvd's verholpen. En nog enkele crashes en het niet meer weergeven van albumhoezen onder Windows zijn gefixt. Ten slotte zijn de vertalingen van VLC - waaronder de Nederlandse - bijgewerkt.
VLC 2.1.3 is in het Nederlands te downloaden voor Windows XP, Vista, 7 en 8, Mac OS X en Linux. Er zijn ook versies van VLC voor Android en iOS.
