foobar2000 is een zeer veelzijdige, maar toch minimalistische muziekspeler voor audiofreaks en is beschikbaar voor Windows XP, Vista, 7 en 8. Er is geen Nederlandse vertaling. Er zijn ook plannen om een versie van foobar2000 voor iOS, Android en Windows Phone te maken.
Gisteren is foobar2000 1.3.4 uitgebracht. Dit is een onderhoudsupdate die allerlei foutjes, regressies en problemen oplost. Ook is een nieuwe versie van de FFMPEG bibliotheek toegevoegd. Alle details kun je hieronder nalezen.

Disregard that, unrar.dll is unusable due to bugs and limitations. Now using RAR source directly with own patches, just like previous foobar2000 versions did [beta 4].

Updated FLAC code to the latest git (as of 2014-10-07), with bug fixes and speedups [beta 5].
