Winamp 5.66

Winamp is een - vroeger - populaire allround mediaspeler, die wedijvert met Windows Mediaspeler. Winamp kan bijna alle audio- en videobestanden afspelen, maar heeft vooral zijn sporen verdiend als muziekspeler.

Winamp 5.66 is vandaag uitgebracht. Dit is de laatste update ooit voor de legendarische mediaspeler. Eigenaar AOL heeft besloten de stekker uit Winamp te trekken: per 20 december 2013 houdt de mediaspeler op te bestaan.

Deze laatste versie kent nog de nodige verbeteringen en reparaties van fouten en crashes. Ook worden enkele componenten bijgewerkt. Dit was het dan voor Winamp. Vaarwel...

Winamp is gratis te downloaden voor Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, Mac OS X en Android en is ook in het Nederlands vertaald. Er is een volledige versie die zowel audio als video afspeelt en een Lite-versie voor muziek alleen.

Let tijdens de installatie goed op dat je niet de onnodige Winamp Agent en werkbalk en zoekmachine installeert (lees de installatie-instructies op onze downloadpagina van Winamp). Ook kan het zijn dat extra software via OpenCandy wordt aangeboden tijdens de installatie. Deze kun je weigeren door 'Ik ga niet akkoord' te selecteren bij door Winamp aanbevolen software.
