VLC media player 2.0.4
VLC media player is het populairste alternatief voor Windows Mediaspeler. En het voordeel van VLC is dat de applicatie bijna alle audio- en video-bestanden kan afspelen. Je hebt dus maar een mediaspeler nodig voor al je muziek en films - in welk formaat dan ook.
VLC media player 2.0.4 is vandaag uitgebracht. Volgens de makers is deze uitgave een grote update die heel veel regressies (weer opnieuw verschijnende problemen), fouten en enkele beveiligingslekken repareert.
Ook is de Opus-codec toegevoegd en het afspelen van YouTube en Vimeo streams verbeterd. Verder is de ondersteuning voor blu-ray schijven weer beter geworden en zijn veel fouten bij het afspelen van ogg- en mkv-bestanden verholpen.
Veel crashes zijn opgelost, onder andere bij het afspelen van dvd's, en ook veel vastlopers in de Mac OS X versie van VLC zijn vlotgetrokken. Ten slotte zijn veel vertalingen, waaronder de Nederlandse, bijgewerkt.
VLC 2.0.4 is in het Nederlands te downloaden voor Windows, Mac OS X en Linux.
