Panda Cloud Antivirus 2.3

Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition is een lichte virusscanner die gebruik maakt van de cloud - de servers van Panda met gegevens over de nieuwste bedreigingen - om snel malware te kunnen detecteren. Ook wordt de rekenkracht van de cloud ingezet om de belasting van je pc zo klein mogelijk te maken.

Panda Cloud Antivirus 2.3 is een onderhoudsupdate die zich voornamelijk richt op prestatieverbeteringen. Met name de on-demand scans en de continue bescherming zouden sneller en soepeler moeten lopen.

Verder is Panda Cloud Free 2.3 beter geschikt voor Windows 8.1 en is er een nieuwe - optionele - Panda Security browser werkbalk toegevoegd. Ook zijn enkele fouten opgelost. Ten slotte is de in versie 2.1 geïntroduceerde anti-exploit detectie weer verbeterd.

Bij een recent onderzoek van AV Comparatives haalde Panda Cloud de perfecte 100% beschermingsscore op een real world protection test.

Panda Cloud Antivirus Free 2.3 is te downloaden voor Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 en 8.1 en is vertaald in het Nederlands.

Let op dat je bij de installatie niet je zoekmachine en startpagina laat wijzigen. Ook de Panda werkbalk voor je browser is niet nodig. Haal de vinkjes weg!

Version 2.3 is a maintenance upgrade from version 2.2. This new version includes important performance improvements (on-demand scans and permanent protection), adds some changes to better integrate with Windows 8.1, includes a new version of Panda Security Toolbar and fixes some bugs reported by the user community:

• Fixed console crashes that could appear under certain conditions.
• Fixed problems detected on some PCs during product upgrade.
• Fixed some linguistic errors.

For a better user experience, Data Shield Protection now allows access to secure applications by default.

Additionally, this new version adds new capabilities to Panda Cloud Antivirus anti-exploit protection. We are extremely excited with this technology included from version 2.1. Thanks to it, to Collective Intelligence and to the other protection technologies included in the product, Panda Cloud Antivirus has managed to detect 100% of malware (working exploits and malicious URLs) in September’s AV-Comparatives Whole Product Dynamic Real-World Protection Test.
