Panda Cloud Antivirus 2.2

Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition is een lichte virusscanner die gebruik maakt van de cloud - de servers van Panda met gegevens over de nieuwste bedreigingen - om snel malware te kunnen detecteren. Ook wordt de rekenkracht van de cloud ingezet om de belasting van je pc zo klein mogelijk te maken.

Panda Cloud Antivirus 2.2 introduceert de zogeheten Panda Community Labs, wat zoveel wil zeggen dat Panda Cloud een proeftuin wordt voor experimentele nieuwe technologieën die - eenmaal goed getest - waarschijnlijk hun weg zullen vinden naar de betaalde versie van Panda. Bleeding Edge technieken kun je dus als eerste uitproberen in Panda Cloud Free.

Enkele interessante nieuwe functies worden zo toegevoegd aan Panda Cloud 2.2:
- Gegevensbescherming: beschermt je persoonlijke gegevens tegen malware, mocht deze door de eerste beveiliging heen breken
- Oudercontrole: ouderlijk toezicht op wat de kinderen uitspoken op internet (moet je zelf nog inschakelen).
- Reddingsschijf: als je pc helemaal in de soep loopt kun je met een USB stick met Panda Cloud Cleaner veilig opstarten om malware op te ruimen. Je moet zelf een reddingsschijf maken.
- Toegangscontrole: bescherm de instellingen van Panda met een wachtwoord (te vinden onder menu Aanmelden console).
- Veilige Modus: je kunt nu Panda in veilige modus installeren en je pc  laten scannen.

Ten slotte is de in versie 2.1 geïntroduceerde anti-exploit detectie weer verbeterd en is de detectie van potentially unwanted programs uitgebreid.

Panda Cloud Antivirus Free 2.2 is te downloaden voor Windows XP, Vista, 7 en 8 en is vertaald in het Nederlands. Een interessante uitgave met veel nieuwe functionaliteit.

Let op dat je bij de installatie niet je zoekmachine en startpagina laat wijzigen. Ook de Panda werkbalk voor je browser is niet nodig. Haal de vinkjes weg!

• Data Shield: This new Protection prevents malware from accessing your personal data. In case a new malware can surpass all protection layers and infiltrate into your PC, Data Shield will avoid any theft or encryption of the important thing: your personal data. We are so sure about the importance of this protection, that we are releasing it enabled by default.

• Parental Control: Keep an eye on the web sites your kids are visiting and protect them from inappropriate content by blocking access to any of 59 different categories.  Have a quick view of your children’s activity in a dashboard filtered by date, website or category.

• Rescue Boot. This new feature is extremely useful in case of emergency situations caused by malware infections. Once created you will be able to boot from a USB or from a rescue option in your PC and remove any virus that locks your system thanks to Panda Cloud Cleaner technology.

Additionally, this new version integrates two of the most demanded features by the Community:

• Access Control. Access to Panda Cloud Antivirus settings can be protected by a password from unauthorized people.
• Safe Mode: Users will be able to install Panda Cloud Antivirus 2.2 and scan their PC against malware threats in Safe Mode.

And, as we continuously do in every version, we have improved Panda Cloud Antivirus protection capabilities.
